The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 136 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Saturday.
The 136 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 58,198.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 116 patients from isolation centers across the country with three new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 41 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 19215.
Ogun state reported 27 new cases, Rivers state recorded 19 while Abia state announced 10 new cases.
Other states are Oyo-6, Plateau-6, Bauchi-5, Ondo-5, Ekiti-4, Kaduna-4, Edo-3, Ebonyi-2, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1, Osun-1 and Yobe-1.
NCDC reports that there are 58,198 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 49,722 discharged and 1,106 deaths.
