The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 409 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Thursday.
The 409 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed cases to 13873.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 145 patients from isolation centers across the country with 17 new deaths reported.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria topped the number of confirmed cases with 201 new cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 6266.
The Federal Capital Territory recorded 85 new cases while Delta reported 22 and Edo state 16 cases.
Other states are Nasarawa- 14, Borno- 14, Kaduna- 14, Bauchi-10, Rivers-9, Enugu- 5, Kano- 5, Ogun- 4, Ondo- 4, Bayelsa- 2, Kebbi- 2 and Plateau- 2.
NCDC reports that there are 13873 cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 4351 discharged and 382 deaths.
