Obaseki Mandate Forum (OMF), an Abuja-based group on Wednesday obtained nomination forms for the re-election of Godwin Obaseki in Edo state on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This comes hours after Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu picked his nomination form for the APC Governorship primary that holds on June 22, 2020.
Earlier today, Mr Ize-Iyamu emerged the consensus candidate of the APC faction loyal to national chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Ize-Iyamu, a former Secretary to Edo State Government (SSG), emerged on Tuesday night in Abuja through consensus candidate.
He was presented by chairman of the screening committee, Senator Francis Alimikhena, the representative of Edo North Senatorial District.
