The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, Mr. Laolu Akande has stated that they are working to secure the Twitter account of the Vice President.
Mr. Akande explained that there were failed external attempts to gain unauthorized access to his Twitter account on Friday but that the situation is under control.
In a tweet on Saturday morning, he said, “Yesterday, there were failed external attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Vice President’s Twitter Account.
Mr. Akande assured Nigerians that the Vice President will continually communicate with the citizens.

“Since, we have been in contact with Twitter, securing the account, and forestalling a reoccurrence. The VP will continue to actively communicate with our citizens,” he said.
