Mixed reactions have trailed Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s advise to young pastors following the rape allegations against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA.

Pastor Adeboye, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, said he has never had a female secretary because it is hard to clear your name if accused of rape.

Pastor Fatoyinbo is being accused by singer Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo, of raping her multiple times when she was just 17.

While some Nigerians believe the stance of Pastor Adeboye is golden, others think other.

So Pastor Adeboye passed across an important message that everyone especially young men & ministers should learn from, But No, my people are more interested in outsourcing it to COZA as a Sub pic.twitter.com/MEuLPkeAkd

Pastor Adeboye is so wise, so so wise, even if he didn’t mention names we all know where he stands ???? unlike those hypocrites going to church last week sunday saying “we love you pastor” , Grandpa shook the table broke it and used Bible scriptures to back it up pic.twitter.com/KJQWYUF0a1

That ‘Flee’ part tho ????????. I will obey everything because of that interpreter woman, she made the repercussions look horrifying ????

Pastor Adeboye finally speaks about the No1 trending issue in Nigerian Christiandom.Though he never mentioned COZA or Biodun Fatoyinbo, but he addressed such issue scripturally. Looking forward to seeing other Men of God speak up too. Now, this is an issue The Church must address pic.twitter.com/UnUi43Y3Ad

Even if you want to come for Pastor Adeboye out of the burning desire to be woke.

Please listen to what he has said. “Flee from every appearances of evil”
-Don’t overestimate your resistance to temptation
    – Avoid controversy with women, because people tend to believe them more.

    — Shalom Ibironke (@Biyatife) July 5, 2019

Adeboye who spoke during a service at the Redemption Camp, stated that he doesn’t have much to say other than what the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, have said.

“I don’t want to comment on some happenings… Like I’ve always told you when people say ‘why don’t you talk?’. I say I’m under authority. The Redeemed Christian Church of God belongs to CAN and we belong to PFN. And in CAN we have a president, in PFN we have a president. Whatever they say, that’s what I’ve said. That’s why I kept my mouth shut”, he said.

Since the news broke out, many Nigerians including notable pastors have aired their opinions and also called for an investigation to be carried out to ascertain the truth of the matter that allegedly happened 20 years ago.

Pastor Adeboye also had a word of advice for aspiring ministers of God. According to him, there’s nothing hidden that shall not come to the open. He went on to warn them that their sins will surely find them.

Speaking further, the man of God warned the aspiring ministers to flee from youthful lust and evil.

“When you see a sister smiling at you in a koi koi way, run. Run as in terror. Don’t say, ‘nah, I’m a great man of God, I’m highly anointed’. Ask Samson”, he said.
