President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday at the State House in Abuja approved the appointment of 11 personal staff for his second term in office.
In a statement by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity the appointments take effect from May 29, 2019.
The personal staff appointed by President Buhari are Mohammed Sarki Abba – Senior Special Assistant to the President (Household and Social Events).
Ya’u Shehu Darazo – Senior Special Assistant to the President (Special Duties); Dr Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi – Personal Physician to the President and Amb. Lawal A. Kazaure as State Chief of Protocol.

Others are Sabiu Yusuf – Special Assistant (Office of the President); Saley Yuguda – Special Assistant (House Keeping) and Ahmed Muhammed Mayo – Special Assistant (Finance & Administration).
He also approved the appointment of Mohammed Hamisu Sani – Special Assistant (Special Duties) and Friday Bethel – Personal Assistant (General Duties).
Friday Bethel – Personal Assistant (General Duties), Sunday Aghaeze – Personal Assistant (State Photographer) and Bayo Omoboriowo – Personal Assistant (Presidential Photographer) were the other appointees.
