    Buhari to commission Yemi Osinbajo Primary School in Borno

    President Muhammadu Buhari will commission a primary school named after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in Maiduguri, Borno State

    President Muhammadu Buhari will on Thursday arrive Maiduguri, Borno state to commission projects executed by the outgoing governor, Kashim Shettima.

    President Buhari is expected to commission a state-of-the-art primary school named after Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. He will also commission other projects named after former governors, Ali Modu Sheriff and Mala Kachallah.

    The President will also commission a huge boarding primary school for children orphaned by Boko Haram. The school which is named after him is located at the Baga road by-pass in Maiduguri.

    He is expected to commission the Industrial layout located in Njimtilo, the State University also located at Njimtilo and the legacy Garden Housing Estate named after Zanna Mustapha, a former late deputy governor of the state.

    Others are ten Kilometres road In Pompamari, Ali Dangote Mega primary school in 303 and a Chest Clinic and General Hospital project at the Post office.

    In preparation for President Buhari’s visit, the Borno State government has declared today as public holiday.

    The Commissioner of Information, Mohammed Bulama urged members of the general public to troop out en masse to receive Mr. President and his entourage.

    “Sequel to the impending official visit of His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Borno State, the Borno State Government has declared tomorrow, Thursday, 25th April, 2019 as public holiday,” he said in a statement.

    “In view of this, members of the general public are hereby urged to troop out en masse to receive Mr. President and his entourage. “Government regrets any inconvenience that may be caused to the general public and appeals for their support, understanding and cooperation during the visit.”
