Impressed by the ingenuity and professionalism displayed by Xplicit Dancers, President Muhammadu Buhari invited them to the State House for a breakfast meeting.
The orphans from Ibadan, Oyo state had left a lasting impression on Buhari who was selected to run for a second term at the All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention at Eagle Square, Abuja, on 6 October.
Thrilled by their story and ability to combine dancing with education, Buhari honoured the orphans.
“These very talented young men and women, Xplicit Dancers, entertained us last night at the APC National Convention.
“This morning I hosted them to breakfast at the State House. I‘m impressed by the way they are combining their immense creative talent with the pursuit of education,” he said after the breakfast meeting.
