A three-year-old football player identified as Nevada has gone viral after his family alleged that police escorted them from a football field in Winter Park, Florida, following complaints about the toddler’s performance.
According to the family, Nevada was playing in an i9 Sports youth football league against children aged five when the incident occurred.
His family claimed that parents of opposing players complained that their children struggled to take the ball away from the toddler because of his impressive football skills.
The dispute reportedly escalated, with the family alleging that the league removed Nevada from the programme and issued a trespass notice before police escorted them away from the field in front of other children.
Father Questions Police Involvement
The family shared their account on TikTok through the account Nevadaney10, alleging that the incident followed repeated complaints about the youngster’s dominance during matches.
“They really called the police on a 3-year-old because he had the ball too much,” Nevada’s father said in the video.
Some parents reportedly accused the toddler of trying to “put on a show”, while his mother defended his actions, insisting that he was simply playing football.
“Those grown-ups huddled up talking about my son… but he ain’t doing nothing but playing soccer,” she said.
Incident Sparks Social Media Debate
The reported incident has sparked discussion online about how youth sports organisers should handle exceptionally talented children while ensuring that matches remain enjoyable for all participants.
The family’s account has raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the alleged removal and the reported involvement of police.
