The White House has introduced a round-the-clock streaming channel called “Trump TV,” giving viewers access to past moments, announcements, and other content from President Donald Trump’s administration.
On Monday, the White House announced the launch on its official X account, stating that the stream would be updated in real time.
“IT’S LIVE. Trump TV is streaming now. 24/7, updated in real time, with top past moments, announcements, and the latest and greatest from the administration all in one place.
“Not every big moment has made it on your TV; now it can,” the White House said.
The stream, formally named “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station,” can be accessed via the White House website and its YouTube channel.
The White House calls it a venue for the administration’s “biggest moments,” featuring videos, key speeches, and highlights.
Its debut occurred during a growing conflict between the Trump administration and multiple major US news outlets regarding access to the White House.
Trump recently blocked CNN, Politico, and MS NOW from White House grounds, leading the three organizations to sue the administration over that action.
In response, major television networks—ABC, CBS, Fox, and NBC—paused their joint White House pool coverage to show solidarity with the outlets affected.
The White House has stood by its media access policy, while Trump has attacked what he calls unfair or “fake news” reporting on his administration.
The inaugural Trump TV broadcast showed previously recorded material, such as Trump’s July 3 speech at Mount Rushmore, instead of a live presidential event.
This new channel provides the White House with a direct way to distribute video of Trump and his administration without depending entirely on television networks for coverage.
