La Liga giant Real Madrid has agreed to a deal to sign Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries.
Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Tuesday that Dumfries will join Madrid, who are set to trigger his €20 million release clause.
Dumfries has made 207 appearances for Inter Milan since joining from PSV Eindhoven in 2021.
He has scored 27 goals for the Nerazzurri, with Dumfries’ ability to play right-back and on the right side of midfield surely a big part of his appeal to Madrid and incoming coach Jose Mourinho, who will be appointed for a second spell in charge should Perez win the election.
Inter is expected to pursue Atalanta’s Marco Palacios to fill the void left by Netherlands international Dumfries.
