President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Prince Femi Adeniran on his 50th birthday on June 1, 2026, and acknowledged his outstanding accomplishments in public service, private sector leadership, investment promotion, and national development.
In a statement released by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, the president said she joined family, friends, colleagues, and associates in honoring Prince Adeniran, a respected corporate executive, public policy advocate, and investment promotion expert whose career has been marked by professionalism, courage, adaptability, and an enduring dedication to Nigeria’s progress.
Tinubu praised Prince Adeniran’s patriotism and sense of duty, particularly his willingness to step away from the comfort and stability of senior private sector leadership at critical junctures in Nigeria’s democratic and economic development.
He recalled that Prince Adeniran first demonstrated this spirit of service during the 2011 presidential election, when he served as Chief of Staff to the Action Congress of Nigeria’s vice presidential candidate, helping to strengthen the progressive movement through organizational and strategic work.
Tinubu also stated that, in recognition of his competence and promise as a young technocrat, Prince Adeniran was identified by a team he established to support governance reforms and institutional efficiency and was seconded to the Governor’s Office in Osun State from 2011 to 2014.
He acknowledged his subsequent role as the pioneer chief executive officer of the Osun State Investment Promotion Agency from 2019 to 2022, during the government of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola.
Prince Adeniran played a key role in repositioning the state’s investment promotion architecture, increasing investor involvement, and advancing public-private collaboration for economic progress.
President Tinubu also praised Prince Adeniran’s impressive private sector career, which has brought him through top domestic and international organizations in financial services, education technology, and telecommunications.
The President praised his return to executive leadership in 2023 as Executive Director, Airtel Nigeria, in charge of stakeholder management, communications, and CSR, where his broad cross-sector experience has continued to support constructive industry engagement, corporate leadership, and dialogue between the telecommunications sector and government on the industry’s long-term sustainability, resilience, and competitiveness.
Tinubu described Prince Adeniran as a bridge builder, innovative communicator, and dedicated patriot whose professional journey exemplifies the best aspects of private industry, public service, and national responsibility.
The President prayed for Prince Femi Adeniran’s ongoing good health, strength, wisdom, and greater accomplishments as he celebrates his golden jubilee and continues to contribute to Nigeria’s advancement and African development.
