Leo Radvinsky, the billionaire owner of OnlyFans, has died aged 43 following a battle with cancer.

A spokesperson for the company confirmed the news, saying the Ukrainian-American businessman “passed away peacefully” after a prolonged illness. His family has requested privacy.

An online obituary indicated that Radvinsky died in Pompano Beach, close to his residence in Boca Raton, where he lived with his family.

Radvinsky built a vast fortune through his majority stake in Fenix International Limited, the firm that owns OnlyFans. His net worth was estimated at $4.7 billion.

He acquired the platform in 2018 from the Stokely family in the UK, transforming it into a global subscription giant. Under his leadership, OnlyFans saw explosive growth—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic—as creators and users flocked to the site.

By 2024, users were spending a record $7.2 billion on the platform. Between 2021 and 2025, Radvinsky reportedly paid himself $1.8 billion in dividends, including $472 million in 2023 alone.

Despite its profitability, he faced challenges attempting to sell the business. Reports suggested that the platform’s adult content model limited buyer interest and capped its valuation, even as revenues surged.

In early 2025, Reuters reported that OnlyFans was exploring a potential majority stake sale to investment firm Architect Capital.

Known for his reclusive lifestyle, Radvinsky kept a low public profile despite his company’s global reach. His illness had not been widely disclosed prior to his death.

Beyond business, he was also recognised for philanthropic efforts and investments in startups. However, he attracted controversy in 2024 after reports that he and his wife donated $11 million to American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
