The National Examinations Council (NECO) will on Tuesday (today), February 3, 2026, release the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination External.
This was announced in an internal circular signed by the Council’s Acting Director, Information and Public Relations, and obtained by our correspondent on Tuesday.
According to the circular, the results will be formally released by Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, at 10:45 a.m.
“The result of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) External will be released on 3rd February 2026 by the Registrar/Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, at 10:45 am.
“In view of the above, staff are enjoined to assemble at the Conference Hall at 10:30 am to witness the event,” the notice read.
The SSCE External Examination is mostly taken by private individuals seeking accreditation outside of the traditional educational system.
NECO usually holds an external test to provide possibilities for people who missed the internal version or need to improve their results.
