Barcelona moved ahead of rivals Real Madrid by one point at the summit of La Liga with an easy win against last-placed Real Oviedo.
Dani Olmo placed the ball into the bottom corner for the first goal in the 52nd minute.
Five minutes later, Raphinha extended Barca’s advantage with a delicate chip over Oviedo’s goalkeeper Aaron Escandell, capitalizing on an error by David Costas.
Teenage Spain forward Lamine Yamal secured the victory in the 73rd minute with a stunning bicycle kick from Olmo’s lifted pass into the area.
It marked a 10th La Liga home victory with manager Hansi Flick, the last instance being in December 2019 with Ernesto Valverde (W14).
Flick’s team underperformed in the first half, with their best opportunity arriving just before halftime when Raphinha was stopped at the near post by Escandell.
However, Barca improved their game in the second half to hold onto their slight lead against Real, while Oviedo stays locked at the bottom and eight points from safety.
Flick’s Barcelona now focuses on Wednesday when they welcome Copenhagen (20:00 GMT) for the last match of the Champions League group stage, seeking to secure a top-eight finish and steer clear of the play-offs.
