The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has warned the public, party members, and supporters against fraudulent online links, websites, and social media accounts falsely claiming to be the party’s official membership registration platform.

The party stated that there is presently no official ADC registration link or website available.

All circulating links should be ignored, the party said in a statement published on X on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.

“At this time, ADC has not launched any public online membership registration link.

“The party is currently working on its official registration and verification platform, which will be formally announced through verified party channels in due course,” the statement read.

The party made it clear that it will never request funds or sensitive personal information via illegitimate links, WhatsApp chats, direct conversations, or third-party websites.

It further advised the public: “Do not click on suspicious or unverified links.” Do not send unverified registration messages.

“Do not submit personal information, including name, phone number, PVC details, BVN, or payment details, to any unverified platform. Report any suspicious links to the ADC through official party communication channels.

“All legitimate ADC announcements, including the launch of the official membership registration platform, will only be communicated through verified ADC platforms and formal statements from the party leadership,” the statement added.

The ADC is actively addressing the issue and will take all necessary steps to protect the public and preserve the party’s integrity.

This comes against the backdrop of recurring scams targeting the ADC, particularly as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.

In July 2025, the ADC disowned a fake list of state chairmen and cautioned against unauthorized online registration platforms designed to defraud Nigerians.
