Fans heading to AFCON Morocco 2025 will enjoy smoother travel as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the tournament’s Local Organising Committee confirmed on Friday that electronic visas will now be issued free of charge.

The offer covers supporters from countries that typically require a visa to enter Morocco.

According to CAF, fans can now obtain their free e-visas via the YALLA app ahead of the tournament, which runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, amid a surge in global interest and ticket demand.

Visitors will need two key documents: a Fan ID and an e-visa. Both can be applied for directly within the YALLA app, ensuring a simplified and secure process for international travellers and local supporters.

CAF explained that the Fan ID is compulsory for gaining access to match venues and official Fan Areas. Once both applications are approved, fans can go ahead and purchase match tickets on the CAF ticketing platform.

The new measures aim to deliver a seamless experience throughout the competition, which will unfold across nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities.

As Morocco hosts AFCON for the first time since 1988, excitement is building for a tournament packed with fierce rivalries, passionate crowds and a new wave of African football talent. Twenty-four teams are expected to feature in the continent’s premier football spectacle.
