The winner of the TeenEagle global finals competition, Nafisa Abdullahi, has received a N200,000 gift from the federal government.
Dr Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, gave the award during a ceremony in Abuja.
The President Bola Tinubu-led federal government applauded the scholar for representing the country and winning the coveted price.
Remember that the Atiku Foundation awarded the TeenEagle champions, Nafisa Abdullahi, Rukaiya Fema, and Khadija Kalli, fully funded scholarships for their remarkable performance at the TeenEagle Global Finals.
The girls, who emerged as global winners in various categories of the prestigious academic competition, were honoured by the Foundation for their “remarkable success”.
In a letter obtained by Chronicle NG dated August 5, 2025, and signed by Prof. Ahmadu Shehu, the AAF’s Acting Secretary stated, “The Atiku Abubakar Foundation is delighted to learn of your outstanding performance at the TeenEagle Global Finals, where you emerged as global winners in various categories of the competition.”
Among the winners is 17-year-old Nafisa Abdullahi, who was recognised for her grasp of the English language, critical thinking, and articulation, which helped her win over entrants from 69 nations.
