Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has revealed he is open to playing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the future.

Adarabioyo made this known on Wednesday in Philadelphia, U.S., during a post-match press conference following Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Esperance de Tunis in the ongoing 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The former Manchester City centre-back, who scored Chelsea’s opening goal in the encounter, responded to a question from a News Agency of Nigeria correspondent.

“That is a question I have answered quite a bit recently, yeah, it is something that we are looking into in the future,” he said.

“It is a conversation I want to have; we will see how that goes,” Adarabioyo added.

The powerful header from the Nigerian-English defender just three minutes into first-half stoppage time gave Chelsea a comfortable lead, helping the Blues advance to the knockout stage of the tournament.

Adarabioyo also emphasized that his focus is now on the upcoming fixture.

“The focus is now on the game against Benfica in the knockout stage of the ongoing competition,” he noted.
