The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Abisola Ruth Olusanya, has commended MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank (PSB) for its active participation in the state’s Ounje Eko initiative.

During a recent meeting with the bank’s executive management team at her office in Ikeja, Lagos, Olusanya acknowledged the bank’s support in the first two phases of the program and emphasized the importance of closer collaboration for future projects.

The Ounje Eko initiative, a weekly food discount market, enables Lagos residents to purchase various food items at a 25% discount.

The program aims to alleviate food security challenges and enhance affordability for residents.

MoneyMaster PSB, appointed as one of the official collection banks for the initiative, has played a key role in supporting the state’s efforts to improve food accessibility.

The bank also reaffirmed its commitment to working with the Lagos State Government on future programs to enhance the lives of residents.

As a leading provider of digital financial services, MoneyMaster PSB is committed to promoting financial inclusion across Nigeria.

Recently, the bank introduced customer-focused incentives, including a 10% data bonus and a 100MB seeding bonus for new and existing customers, accessible via its USSD platform and mobile app.

The partnership between Lagos State and MoneyMaster PSB underscores the significance of public-private collaboration in addressing essential community needs and fostering sustainable development.
