Kwara United defender Azeez Saka has died after collapsing during training on Friday morning at club’s stadium complex.
The sad incident happened during one of their training sessions, and it was reported that efforts to save the player’s life was futile.
One of his teammate, Abubakar Sylas Yusuf told reporters that the defender did not give any sign of sickness until he fell to the ground during the training. He said: ”Yes, I was behind him when he fell on the ground and the thought was that he wanted to rest, but sadly he died afterwards,”
