Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has stated that Nigerians buy fuel at the lowest price in the world.

Badmus voiced her views during an interview on media personality Daddy Freeze’s Instagram live stream. To defend President Bola Tinubu, she referred to social media users as “keypad warriors.”

She said, “A lot of these keypad warriors do not even have an idea of what subsidy is. It was when they removed it that they knew what the government was doing. Even till now, I think we still buy the cheapest fuel in the world.”

She went on to explain her unflinching support for the President, saying, “I believe him so much; I have seen what he has done and what he is still going to do. I’ve never seen a philanthropist as good as our current president.”

Speaking enthusiastically, Badmus expressed her conviction in his leadership abilities and reiterated her support for him since he freely contributes.

“Whether he knows you or not, if Baba hears your problem, it’s solved. We need a cheerful giver, someone who has empathy for his people in his heart. We need someone who will understand us,” she said.

Badmus is well-known for her support of Nigeria’s president, particularly during his electoral campaign. She justified herself, fully knowing of the public’s displeasure with her decision, by saying, “I have a right to choose whoever, and until he leaves the position, I would stand by them.”
