Yul Edochie, a well-known Nollywood performer, has reported the murder of his son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, to the Lagos State Police Command.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, verified the development in a conversation with reporters Friday morning.
Kambilichukwu died on Thursday morning after suffering a seizure and being taken to Lagos’ Mother and Child Hospital.
According to accounts, the 16-year-old boy perished while at school, rather than in the company of his parents.
According to the authorities, the case will be referred to the State Criminal inquiry Department for further inquiry on Friday [today].
