According to the Ondo State Command, three suspects have reportedly been arrested over the alleged murder of a navel officer identified as Akingbohunmi in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of the state.

Akingbohunmi was allegedly attacked by hoodlums on Monday following an argument with a commercial motorcyclist.

Following the attack, the naval officer who sustained life-threatening injuries was quickly taken to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival. His death led to the invasion of the community by naval officers in search of the culprits.
