Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has been named Premier League Player of the Month for November.
After not starting a single game prior to October, the Red Devil started all three of Manchester United’s victories in November, against Fulham, Luton Town, and Everton. His squad was able to keep a clean sheet in all of them.
In the poll, the Maguire defeated Manchester City’s Jeremy Doku, Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling, Bournemouth’s Marcus Tavernier, and Luton Town’s Thomas Kaminski.
This is the first time the former Leicester City defender has received the honor. No other Red Devil has won it since Marcus Rashford did in February of this year.
So far this season, the Three Lions international has made 14 official appearances for the Manchester club, 12 of which have been starts, scoring one goal and contributing one assist in all competitions.
