In a letter sent to IGP Usman Baba Alkali on Tuesday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) requested that Barr. Hudu Yunusa Ari, its resident electoral commissioner (REC) for Adamawa State, be looked into for possible criminal charges.

A review of the REC’s appointment was also asked by the electoral umpire due to the REC’s “unwholesome behavior” by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.

The conclusions were reached by the commission following its meeting on Tuesday in Abuja.
