The All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu has failed to deliver his polling unit in the presidential election in Nasarawa state.
The Senate President, Ahamd Lawan also failed to win for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu at his own polling unit in Yobe state.
Adamu, a former Nasarawa governor, voted at Angwarimi ward, GRA A1, Lercest office in Keffi, Nasarawa state.
APC garnered 85 votes while Labour Party polled 132 votes. The result was similar to many sighted by Chronicle NG on Saturday.
Lawan, who was declared winner of the Yobe North Senatorial ticket despite not contesting for in the primaries was humbled.
The senate president voted at Katuzu Primary School, Gashua, Yobe state at polling unit 01B.
He was defeated by the Peoples Democratic Party who polled 186 while APC garnered 107 votes.
New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) managed 41 votes while Labour Party collected just one vote.
For senatorial votes, APC (Lawan) polled 114 votes while the PDP senatorial candidate got 219, the NNPP got 11 votes, African Democratic Congress one vote and five votes were invalid.
The result have greater implication for Lawan who is seeking to return to the senate after failing to win the APC presidential primaries.
