The Chartered Institute of Information Security has granted Prof. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami), Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Fellowship status (CIISec).
After thorough inspections and interviews, the Minister was given the honor.
The Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) states that “Fellow is the highest degree of attainment in CIISec membership levels and is there to reward industry leaders in the information/cyber security field.
With the recognition, Pantami joins the other 89 Fellows of CIISec as the lone African Fellow.

CIISec Fellowships are given to people who have established credibility and authority in the cybersecurity community and who have shown a dedication to elevating the field.
Since 2018, CIISec (the Home of Cyber) is the only information and cybersecurity organization in the UK to have received a Royal Charter of Incorporation.
According to information on the institute’s website, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim is the sole African Fellow among the updated list of current Fellows, which includes 89 other Fellows.
Along with working with corporate members, academic institutions, and governmental organizations, Professor Pantami has the authority to take part in the accreditation and validation of abilities for new members thanks to the Fellowship status.
