The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 675 confirmed new coronavirus cases in the country on Thursday.
The 675 cases announced by the Centre for Disease Control takes the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 71,344.
The NCDC also announced the discharge of 232 patients from isolation centers across the country with four new deaths reported.
The Federal Capital Territory again recorded the highest number of cases with 183 persons testing positive.
Lagos state, the epicentre of the virus in Nigeria reported 128 new confirmed cases taking the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos alone to 24,366.
Kaduna recorded 85 new cases, Kwara state reported 57, Katsina state recorded 50, Plateau state 42 and Rivers state 39 new cases.
Other states are Kano-33, Ondo-21, Ogun-17, Bauchi-10, Sokoto-5, Edo-2, Ekiti-1, Bayelsa-1 and Delta-1.
