The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has denied freezing the accounts of Senator Ademola Adeleke, Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Osun.

The anti-graft agency also dismissed rumours that it froze the account of Nigerian musician, Davido, who is nephew to Adeleke.

EFCC noted that at no time did it freeze the accounts of the duo that are reportedly domiciled in First City Merchant Bank.

“The EFCC did not freeze the account of Senator Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for September 22, 2018 Osun State governorship election,” the anti-graft agency said in a tweet.
