UBA has made it easy for Nigerians looking to spend the Yuletide abroad or for those looking to pay school fees get forex by walking into any of their branch nationwide.
With UBA, your foreign currency can be placed on a dollar debit or prepaid card for security reasons and also for convenience of the holder.

To process Personal Travel Allowance (PTA) and make international school via UBA, you need to meet some Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) requirements.
For PTA, applicants must be at least 18 years old and must hold a Nigerian passport. Applicants must also hold a UBA account with verifiable Bank Verification Number (BVN).
PTA shall only apply to trips of minimum five hours flight time and the flight must take off from Nigeria.
Travel date must not be more than 14 days from the date of purchase of PTA and applicants will be entitled to $4,000 per quarter.
For international school fees, there’s a little tilt to it.
Remittances will be made directly to the school’s account, which means that forex will not be handed over to the applicant in cash.
The maximum request that can be made per term/semester is $15,000.
Its important to note that applicants must present a verifiable BVN along with duly completed Form ‘A’; admission letter and an invoice from the school.
Plus, only parents and guardians that have UBA accounts can apply.
