Son wheels away after hitting the winner for Spurs

Tottenham came back from two goals down to snatch a dramatic point in a thrilling encounter at Manchester City.

Leroy Sane and Kevin de Bruyne capitalised on two mistakes by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to put the visitors ahead in the second half.

Dele Alli’s header gave the visitors hope and Son Heung-min slotted home the equaliser shortly after a City penalty appeal at the other end.

Substitute Gabriel Jesus thought he had won it for the visitors a minute into his debut, but he was correctly ruled offside.

Pep Guardiola’s side missed the chance to move into the top four in the table, and are now two points behind second-placed Spurs and nine away from leaders Chelsea, who play Hull City on Sunday.
